Wageningen University is offering online masters, MOOCs and professional education by distance learning. The Education institute and the Library invite you to attend a lecture on online Open Educational Resources.

Online learning materials are being developed by lecturers, but also third-party material is used. In return, the online materials are suitable to be reused by others.
Lisette Kalshoven (Kennisland) will explain in a clear and enthusiastic way what Open Educational Resources (OER) are. Moreover, she will debunk the most common OER myths that obstruct adopting open materials for education. Lisette will kick off the discussion in Wageningen on using open educational materials, and on sharing our own work likewise. She will be introduced by Ulrike Wild, director Online and Open Learning at Wageningen University.

During and after the lecture, you can ask questions on copyright or Creative Commons licences. For these questions, you can also contact Marianne Renkema from Wageningen UR Library.

Date: Tue 27 October 2015
Time: 4 pm to 6 pm (drinks afterwards)
Venue: Impulse, Building number 115

Organised by Education Institute and Wageningen UR Library.
