At the meeting NWO announced the start of an RDM pilot in the 2015 Vici round. In this pilot Vici applicants will be invited to include a Research Data Management Paragraph (RDMP). The paragraph will explain how data will be collected during the research and how the data will be published after the research. The RDMP will not be compulsory. But, NWO announced that proposals with an RDMP stand a better chance of approval. After approval the researcher will have to write a complete Research Data Management Plan.
