All knowledge about organic agricultural research has been compiled in the website bioKennis. The website's foundation, the Knowledge Bank Organic Agriculture and Food, has recently been equipped with a new search engine. The new search engine replaces ‘searching by filling in a search form' and offers a more powerful search option that soon will also include full text search.

The search engine in the Multimedia Centre begins with filling in a search term in one box. The search result comes back accompanied by a list of filters that the user can use to refine the result. Filters include the item’s availability (paper or internet), publication year, subject or sector that the publication is related to, the journal that it’s published in and the author.

The Knowledge Bank Organic Agriculture and Food is the first Wageningen UR Library database that uses the new search engine.
