A new PhD course titled 'Critical Perspectives on Social Theory' gives participants an opportunity to intensively engage with some of the major foundational movements in critical social theory, enabling them to explore contemporary expansions of those movements in their own research. The course will be given in collaboration with the Rural Sociology Group, the Sociology of Development and Change Group, and the Sociology of Consumption and Households Group. Lecturers from other universities will also do their part. More information on the course.
