Wageningen UR Library offers lots of scholarly books and journals to you online and in print. But did you know that we also have a small collection of literary and popular science books? All these books have been written by Wageningen UR staff or students.

The widely read author Frank Westerman is a former student in Irrigation and Soil and Water Conservation. A documentary ‘Dier, bovendier’ has also been made about one of his books.

The President of the Executive Board, Prof. L.O. (Louise) Fresco, publishes articles in academic journals, but she also produces a fortnightly column in a leading Dutch newspaper. And on top of that she is also a novelist and non-fiction writer.

Did you know Simon Oosting, lecturer in Livestock Science, publishes poetry, stories and essays in Friesian?

We've collected these publications and placed them around the globe in the Forum Library. The books are waiting for you to borrow them. Most books are written in Dutch.

We are still collecting these books, so if you happen to know a title that is not in our collection, please contact us or tell the lending desk in Forum Library.
