ORL student project on food waste makes the news
Former ORL thesis student Bart Bijlsma recently got his MSc thesis project cited in a major Dutch newspaper (De Volkskrant), in a highly topical special on food waste. In his thesis, Bart analysed the influence of discounting strategies within inventory management on sales volumes as well as food waste in retail settings.
