Open Access publishing in 1336 Wiley journals

As of March 4th, corresponding authors from Dutch universities can publish Open Access in 1336 Wiley hybrid subscription journals, without additional costs.

The agreement between the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) and publisher Wiley states that corresponding authors from Dutch universities will not be charged for article processing costs (APCs) when publishing their accepted articles in one of the 1336 hybrid Open Access journals (the Wiley OnlineOpen collection).

This agreement has been in force since March 4th, 2016. This means that authors may publish their article Open Access without additional costs from this date only.

On acceptance of the manuscript, the corresponding author should indicate that this article is to be published as Open Access. This option can be selected at "author services", once the article has been accepted for publication in one of the Wiley OnlineOpen journals. The APCs for publishing Open Access in the selected journal are shown on the OnlineOpen Order Form. Researchers from Wageningen UR must select Wageningen UR as an indication that the APCs have been paid in line with the agreement between VSNU and Wiley.

1336 Wiley journals are available through this agreement.

Further information is available at Q&A of the VSNU.
