The Library has recently extended its ‘For teachers’ portal with information on Open Educational Resources (OER): What are OER and how can you use, find, reuse and share them.
Open Educational Resources are any type of educational materials that are in the public domain or that come with an open license (Creative Commons license). Anyone can legally and freely copy, use, adapt and re-share open materials.
In your courses you can use open materials as a source of inspiration and adapt them to your needs, but you can also use them as is. You can use open materials in MOOCs, in on-campus courses and in courses for professionals.
At the link For teachers / OER we provide tips on where to find open materials, such as images, videos, textbooks, articles and courses, and where to share your material.
