Last week article number 4000 was added to Groen Erfgoed, a database in Dutch on the history of public gardens and parks in the Netherlands.
In the database Groen Erfgoed you can find journal articles, books and reports on the history of gardening and landscape architecture in the Netherlands. All the publications are in print or digitally available in Wageningen UR Library collection. The information in Groen Erfgoed is in Dutch.
Started in 1980 the database has grown steadily. Each year approximately a hundred new publications were added. Last week entry 4000 was added: an article on the rose collections in Arboretum Belmonte in Wageningen.
If you need information on a specific region (e.g. Gelderland), a certain subject area (e.g. the garden of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam), a special feature in gardens or parks (e.g. mazes / doolhoven) or a specific type of landscape (e.g. ruilverkavelingen) Groen Erfgoed can provide a list of interesting publications.
