An international playing field registered for the course ‘Postharvest Technology 2016’, that took place in October.
The course leaders Ernst Woltering, Wageningen Food & Biobased Research and Julian Verdonk, Wageningen Plant Research opened the course. They announced interesting speakers from Wageningen and from UC Davis Postharvest Technology Center more specific on citrus related issues. There was a lot of interaction between the participants during breaks, demonstrations and the Cooking Event under supervision of our master chef. The third course day on Wageningen Campus finished with drinks, were participants could reflect with each other, with lecturers and with the course leader, while enjoying a snack and a beverage. The last day we visited three companies and their work in daily practice of postharvest technology.

This was the third edition of the course. Potential participants for the next edition, expected to be held in October 2017, can register by completing the interest form on our website.
