Wageningen UR Library has created a sustainable database for the research output of the ‘Knowledge for Climate’ and the ‘Climate changes Spatial Planning’ programmes.
Knowledge for Climate was a Dutch research programme on climate change and adaptation. The programme ran from 2007 through 2014. The Climate changes Spatial Planning Programme ran from 2004 to 2011 and aimed to enhance joint-learning between communities and people within spatial planning.
These two programmes produced about 4,000 publications that were first distributed through a publication database in the websites of the programmes. After the programme funding ended, these publications entered the database of the Wageningen UR Library, where they will be sustainably maintained.
Users can search the publications with a specially designed search portal. An additional advantage of the migration is that the outreach of the publications is increased, since relevant publications are also easy to find in other thematic portals (e.g. the Hydrotheek).
If you run a scientific programme and want to sustainably store your publications, please contact the Library. We can help you to develop a sustainable solution.
