In December 2018 the manuscript of Dr.ir. Ellen Slegers on the impact of (future) foods was published, in Nature Sustainability: The potential of future foods for sustainable and healthy diets. The paper was a collaboration with the group from prof.dr.ir. Imke de Boer (Animal Production Systems) and various international scientists. The research is a.o. LCA analyses of various future foods compared to traditional animal-based protein sources.
