On Monday 2nd April, a start was made with the huge removal of the various Wageningen UR libraries to the new library in the Forum building. We have started with the collection from the closed stacks of the Jan Kopshuis. In May the other locations will follow. The last to move will be The Haaff Library from the IMAG-building.
Jan Kopshuis Library will remain open until 16th May, including the study facilities. The other locations will be moved in phases during the month of May and each location will close as soon as its removal starts. Library users will be informed at an early stage in our newsletter and on our website.
On the day a part of the collection is moved, the holding data of the catalogue records of that part of the collection are adapted: behind the library name FORUM the indication "Temporarily unavailable” will be found. It is then no longer possible to request the publication, or to borrow it, during the removal period. However, we can request the publication for you, if available from another library in the Netherlands, through Interlibrary Loan against the usual charges.
