Revamped Portal Green Kennisnet (Green KnowledgeNet)

Published on
March 30, 2010

The portal has been completely revamped since 25 May. The website has undergone an extensive transformation and, because of the application of advanced techniques, now offers a treasure trove of green knowledge and interesting options to share green knowledge

The portal offers the following:

  • Current green knowledge for education, research, industry, policymakers and
    everyone who wants it
  • Practical articles, reports, websites and learning aids
  • Information about green knowledge institutions and their innovation

Visitors can find green knowledge organised by theme pages and can also search in the extensive and carefully selected collection with the power search engines.  Green website administrators can also take advantage of the Groen Kennisnet. If they ‘share’ their collection with the Groen Kennisnet, they will receive a richer and continuously updated collection of resources on their own website. Moreover, they can use the special module Kennisloket (Knowledge Desk). The Kennisloket is a question and answer bank – that users can place on their website – in which their experts give online answers.

The Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV) officially launched the website at the GKC congress ‘Kennis and Innovatie: de Regio aan Zet’ (Knowledge and Innovation: the Region’s Turn) on June 22nd. Take a look at the Groen Kennisnet trailer (in Dutch).
Groen Kennisnet is a service of the Groene Kennis Cooperatie (Green Knowledge Cooperation) and is supported by the Ministry of the Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality and several organisations and institutions in the fields of food and green.
