Seminar The Making of... Research Data Management Policy

Published on
November 3, 2016

All Dutch universities and research institutions are actively developing research data management policies and services. The Library is organising a seminar on 1 December 2016, in Impulse. The goal of the seminar is to share ideas and to improve collaboration on Research Data Management Policy development.

All university libraries deal with the same questions and challenges. Buzzwords are FAIR data, Amsterdam Call for Action, and Open Science. We aim to bring together the university library directors, policy makers at the universities and research institutions, chairs of the research schools and members of the UKB Working Group Research Data and the Working Groups of the National Coordination Point.

The seminar will be opened by the Rector Magnificus of Wageningen University & Research, Prof. Arthur Mol. The WUR Library director drs. Hubert Krekels and drs. ing. Jacquelijn Ringersma, Head of the Digital Production Centre, will participate in the seminar.
