On Wednesday, September 16th, the project group Weerbaar Vee (Resilient Cattle) organizes the symposium ‘Werken aan Weerbaarheid’ (Working on Resilience). During this symposium, the results of five years of research to improve the resilience of cows are presented. Researchers answer the question whether the resilience of cows can be measured, to what extend it is hereditary and whether we can positively influence resilience. You are cordially invited to attend this symposium. (Symposium is in Dutch!)
At 29 dairy farms, animal health is followed closely for five years and is looked at what changes in management mean for animal health. Has this increased the durability of the cows? Weerbaar Vee likes to tell your more about that on September 16.
The symposium will take place on Wednesday, September 16th from 10:00-15:00h in De Reehorst in Ede (Bennekomseweg 24, 6717 LM Ede) and is organized especially for dairy farmers and other interested parties from the dairy sector.
