Elsbeth Spelt, since January 1 of this year working as AIO at the Science Group Education and Competence Studies of Wageningen UR, makes eager use of the Library's service and facilities: "During the last 6 months I have borrowed lots of books and have requested many articles. Furthermore I attended the courses Literacy for PhD's and Endnote (Introductions and Advanced)". She resumes: "The subject of my PhD research is 'Interdisciplinary Learning', and that is why I make use of the Leeuwenborch Library, because they have books on educational science. I always start with the digital library, from my workplace or from home". Elsbeth says that she is usually able to find her way and if she can't, she asks the information specialist. The course Information Literacy was quite useful here: "I make use of the catalogue, and databases such as Scopus, Eric Database, ISI Web of Knowledge and ISI Web of Science".

The 31-year-old Elsbeth, who studied Food Science and Technology in Wageningen, thinks that during the last few years a lot has changed in a positive way in the Library: "For instance, you can search a lot of databases simultaneously and a student need not come to Wageningen during his or her practical training to find relevant literature. Library, carry on!".
