Researchers in the field of microfluidics developed a medical microchip that can be used to diagnose genetic diseases.

In a Nature Technical Feature the development of a medical microchip is described. The lab of Dino Di Carlo applied state of the art microfluidic technologies to develop an intricate chip design that can separate different cell types.
