Theme issue on Teacher Attrition
In the international journal Teachers and Teaching: Theory and Practice a theme issue on teacher attrition has appeared. Teacher attrition concerns teachers leaving the teaching profession before their pension. Understanding teacher attrition is an important topic in times of teacher shortages: every teacher counts! As part of the theme issue Perry den Brok (co)authored an article on attrition in the Netherlands. The article was written and published during his Eindhoven time, but it may be of interest nevertheless.
