Trial access to Food Sciences and Technology Abstracts

May 14, 2019

From 15 May until 15 September 2019 WUR staff and students have access to the database Food Sciences and Technology Abstracts (FSTA). Let us know if you consider FSTA a useful addition to the collection! Please send us your comments.

FSTA is a bibliographic database of scientific and technological research and information on food, beverages, and nutrition. FSTA covers every aspect of the food chain including major food commodities, biotechnology, microbiology, food safety, additives, nutrition, packaging and pet foods. FSTA offers more than 1,000,000 highly informative summaries of research articles, patents, standards, reviews, conference proceedings and reports. Alongside journal articles, FSTA includes trade publications, books, reviews, conference proceedings, reports, European patents (EPO), world patents (WIPO, covering 104 countries), and International Standards (ISO). The complete list of sources can be found on the right.

Now and then we receive messages from users that other databases, like Scopus and CAB Abstracts, don't cover these subjects well enough. That's why we're offering a triial subscription to FSTA on the OvidSP-platform from 15 May until 15 September.

Let us know if you like FSTA!
