After a year unlike any other, the twelfth annual meeting of the Society for Environmental Law and Economics will be held online via Zoom in 2021. Although the details have not yet been finalized, we anticipate that the meeting will consist of a series of half-day sessions held on Fridays in May and June.
Despite the unusual format, we hope to build upon the great success of past meetings and to continue to develop a community of environmental scholars interested in working in the intersection of law, economics, and environmental or natural resource issues. We welcome both theoretical and empirical papers, as well as studies looking at problems at local, state, national, and international levels.
In the spirit of collegiality, the meeting will use a workshop format in which all sessions are plenary. As in years past, please note that all participants are expected to attend all of the presentations, although we of course recognize that schedules may be affected by the pandemic. Our goal is to create a program that includes a variety of topics and disciplinary perspectives.
