We are looking for an enthusiastic post-doctoral researcher with expertise in integrated biological data sensing and processing, and who wants to develop the next-generation sensory systems for Animal Sciences.

You will be one of four dedicated “sensor” postdocs in the new multidisciplinary Animal Sciences Sensor Development Team at the Department of Animal Sciences at Wageningen University & Research (WUR). Within the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing methodologies and techniques for processing complex biological data, including animal movement data, and internal/external sensor data. We therefore look for a data science expert with affinity with biology and animal sciences, or vice versa.

You will work in our research group, the Experimental Zoology Group of Wageningen University, and in close collaboration with other experts in the departmental-wide Animal Sciences Sensor Development Team.
