Since 2005 Wageningen University and Research (WUR) has successfully organised the bi-annual European Food & Agribusiness Seminars (EFAS) leading up to a global network of more than 300 experienced leaders in the food and agribusiness industry. To further expand the scope of the EFAS seminars WUR is pleased to announce that for this programme they have agreed on a joint partnership with the Zurich Institute of Business Education (www.ceibs.ch) that is part of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
CEIBS is a well-respected international business school linking East and West and with offices in different continents of the world. The CEIBS Zurich Campus is located at the shores of Lake Zurich only 15 minutes away from Zurich’s buzzing city centre and with direct train connection to Zurich airport.
Seminar set-up unchanged
The set-up of the seminars will remain unchanged, focussing on in-depth discussions of real-life business cases with the company’s CEO. A limited number of participants, experienced leaders in the global food and agribusiness industry, interact with the company protagonist on the current strategic challenges they face in today’s dynamically changing world. What are their solutions, what would participants do if in their position? A scientific committee, formed by experts from both WUR and CEIBS, is responsible for the programme and development of the real-life business cases.
The next Food & Agribusiness Seminar will take place from June 18 to 20, 2017 at the CEIBS Zurich Campus in Horgen, starting on Sunday afternoon and finishing on Tuesday.
