The fourth edition of the Food Film Festival will take place this year at Westergasfabriek on 9, 10, and 11 May. This year, Wageningen UR is programme partner of the festival, which will not only focus on the culinary aspects of food, but will also critically review our food system as a whole.

The world of food

During the three-day festival, visitors can completely immerse themselves in the world of food. Among other activities, they will be able to watch food-related films, participate in workshops, and attend various debates. The debates and public programmes have been developed in coordination with experts from Wageningen UR.

Initiative YFM

The Food Film Festival is an initiative by the YFM (Youth Food Movement (Dutch website)). The YFM is a network of students, young consumers and food professionals – such as farmers, horticulturists, chefs, fishermen, and producers – all of whom work together to bring about changes in the area of food production and consumption.
