Energy transitions are key to modern society. Social meaning that explains how a certain technology is used or understood , however, is often underestimated, as well as how they can impact global energy transitions.

Therefore we are looking for a MSc student who likes to investigate this in rural Cameroon, which has a rich and prominent set of highly localized socio-cultural institutions influencing household decision making. A central research question will be 'How justice can be done to local social and informal institutions in designing technology projects?'. This can be either used for an MSc internship or thesis.

The deadline for application is January 15, 2015. More information can be found here.
