Watch out for predatory publishers!

The dark side of the transition towards an open access publishing system is that some publishers are only trying to make a profit from it.

In our Library blog about Open Science you can read a blogpost about predatory publishers. These publishers do not peer review their articles and publish everything they receive. These journals do not have an impact factor and thus staff who are on Tenure Track won’t get any credits for publishing in these journals.

In the blogpost Library staff helps you to identify questionable journals and publishers.

We invite you to read and to comment on the blogposts of the OpenScience blog.
