Will climate-smart agriculture help realize REDD+?

Wageningen University will co-host a session entitled ‘Will climate-smart agriculture help realize REDD+?’ at the Global Landscapes Forum in Lima, Peru on 7th December 2014.

Speakers from the Norwegian University of Life Science (NMBU), Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and Wageningen University will present and lead discussions on the following key questions:

  1. Where are the pan-tropical emission and mitigation hotspots in the Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (AFOLU) sector?
  2. How are drivers and REDD+ intervention linked and impact monitoring options outside forests?
  3. How can CSA contribute to reduced emissions in both the agriculture and forest sectors?
