Wim Heijman receives two honorary titles
On 19 May 2016, the Scientific Council of Belgorod State Agricultural University (Russia) has awarded Wim Heijman the title of Honorary Professor. The award ceremony will take place during the anniversary events of the University on 4 and 5 December this year.
On 21 April 2016, the Scientific Board of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra has awarded the title Doctor Honoris Causa to Wim Heijman. That ceremony took place on 19 October. "The honorary title Doctor Honoris Causa is awarded to exceptional personalities of academia that have significantly contributed to the development of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra and actively cooperate with experts and scientist of both domestic and international institutions."
