Award for paper Sven Stremke and Sören Schöbel.
A recent paper by Sven Stremke and Soren Schobel has been selected as Outstanding paper by Emerald publishers. More specifically, the paper has received the 2020 Literati Award of the Smart and Sustainable Built Environment journal.
This is a much-welcome acknowledgement of Landscape Architecture as academic discipline and Research Through Designing in particular. The case study in the paper reports on Solar Parks research that was commissioned by the province of North Brabant. The publishers recognition evidences that, if done well, smaller projects can just as well result in impactful publications, in spite of the tendency to prioritize NWO projects in the WUR Tenure Track system.
