Career Development
Preparing and orientating oneself on the labour market is very important, but might be difficult. Student Career Services offers training, events and other services to help students prepare for their future job. Services include (online) CV and LinkedIn support, as well as career coaching and career events.
Study skills
Everyone can learn how to study. Studying is a skill set that can be learned and trained. Whether you are new to university, haven’t studied for a while, or are partially through your degree, sometimes you might need some extra help to enhance the skills that are essential to your academic achievements. STS offers trainings and guidance that help students acquire the necessary skills to achieve their academic goals.
Communication
Communication is of major importance in everyday life. Whether students are looking to learn a new language, improve academic literacy skills, improve presentation skills or want to overcome a fear of public speaking, WUR and partners offer a wide range of trainings to develop and enhance language and literacy skills.
Between cultures
Adjusting to a new culture may be difficult. To help students to get used to the Dutch (student) culture and Wageningen, WUR provides workshops and seeks to connect its students with other (international) students.
Well-being
WUR assigns great value to the mental and physical well-being of its students. Therefore, STS offers a variety of workshops, trainings, events and other facilities to stimulate and enhance student well-being, health and happiness.
