SMP23031 Global measurement framework for sustainable crop protection
Crop protection products (CPPs) play an important role in food production to manage pest pressure and sustain yields and food losses, but are also heavily debated on its health and environmental impacts. A range of indicators and sustainability measurement programs have been developed and applied worldwide.
This project will explore the development of a framework that links several indicators and measurement programs in crop protection conceptually and methodologically. This will be done in such a way that it creates opportunities for all farmers worldwide to apply indicators measuring sustainability of crop protection and to apply consistent but more advanced indicators in the long run.
