Climate- and food related issues and solutions draw most of my attention. I would like to contribute to a sustainable world in which resilient systems can operate safely without harming the environment. If I am abroad, I enthusiastically explore a country’s culture and ecosystems and notice the values of these systems for the local people.
Currently I work on the interface of climate change and agriculture. I analyse the effect of extreme weather events on agricultural production and study measures farmers or regional organizations can take in order to become less sensitive to these events.
