The launch of the new National Dairy Plan and the Worldbank projects request further study. How the Dutch Dairy Consortium can participate?
Objectives of the project
The dairy industry in India has been fairly documented over the years, also by parties involved such as the Rabobank. The launch of the new National Dairy Plan and the Worldbank projects request a further study, identification and selection of suitable partners (both from cooperatives side as well as private businesses) and available financial resources, both from public and private parties as well as from international donors. The main question is how the Dutch Dairy Consortium can participate, which Indian partners and investors are leading in these developments and projects and how to showcase Dutch technology in Indian investment projects.
Moreover, rules and regulations with regards to imports of dairy products, knowhow, technology and equipment in India are not clear yet. These two aspects need to be investigated further, in order to allow for better views on investment opportunities in the dairy sector in India.
