Canopy photosynthesis in response to fluctuating water, nitrogen and light conditions, and crop management

Canopy photosynthesis is affected by water, nitrogen and light variations, and crop managements (e.g. bending in rose production). However, the change of canopy photosynthesis caused by those environmental variations and crop managements is an integrated result of changes in both leaf photosynthetic traits and plant architecture (which affects light interception).

Using FSP models, the effects of changes in leaf photosynthetic traits and plant architectural traits on canopy photosynthesis can be quantified separately.
