Consumer-research pilot sustainable food products

Aim of this project is to research to what extent the 10 greengrocers’ customers appreciate and actually buy the new, sustainable food products at their greengrocer’s and to what extent they feel well informed about these products by their greengrocers.

Approach and timeline

February 2010 10 Dutch greengrocers will start offering several sustainable food products (organic, regional, Fair Trade, etc) in their stores. At the end of this pilot, consumer-research will show how this increase in the range of products offered by these greengrocers, is perceived by the customers of these stores.
