Project

Developing area-specific clusters

The Ministry of EL&I is responsible for the top sector policy. A content- and process-based support focused on shaping that responsibility may help to improve internal harmonization and strengthen the position determination of officials within EL & I to the top sectors.

Abstract

This project is initiated to provide both content and process support to fusion partners DRZ and REB. They are responsible for the top sector policy that the Dutch government has been launched. The support is needed to improve internal coordination and a joint strategy and definition of roles to come. Therefore Alterra Wageningen UR staff carried out process interventions, connected people and provided strategic information where desired. Thus, they worked towards a project plan for the top sector policy and the development of regional agrifood clusters. The study focussed on the most topical questions. The answers were delivered as quickly and accurately as possible to officials who needed them the most.
