A database has been set up for the BES-islands that collects and maintains data on different aspects of nature management.
On the islands of Bonaire, Eustatius and Saba (BES) it is important to understand the effects of spatial planning at the rural and marine nature. At this moment there is no efficient structure for storing data (including data protection), data sharing and spatial visualization capabilities.
The goal of this project is to establish an efficient and user-friendly database, including opportunities for spatial visualization. It is important that the system also ensures that the long-term data collected remain available. This system can contribute significantly to the nature of the BES islands.
