Abstract

Alterra Wageningen UR examines a suitable guidance mix for the Ministry of EL&I in the spatial domain. Main objective is to support the ministry in the development and implementation of these control mix by describing inspiring examples, identify success and failure, and translating these into lessons. Questions are for example: What policy issues stand out for the ministry in the spatial domain? What governance theories offer inspiration for the evolving management philosophy? What are relevant practices of decentralization and innovative control strategies from foreign files? What experience has been gained with this? The project provides inspiration and underpins control choices for the ministry.
