Coccidiostats are authorized as feed-additive but are frequently found on carry-over levels in non-targeted feed.
The aim of this project is the development and testing of new, rapid and relatively inexpensive combined screening-methods for the simultaneously detection of several coccidiostats (with combined antibodies) in eggs and animal feed (carry-over level).
Also, a new test for β-agonists is developed. This involves the measuring of known β-agonists, but aslo the measurement of unknown substances using the working mechanism (receptor) and structure-related (by the adding of new antibodies). Activities include the development and testing of new laboratory methods.
