Precision agriculture
Precision Agriculture and Agro Robotics can play a major role in preservation of agricultural crops in Open Cultivation.
Precision Agriculture is about detection, decision, implementation and evaluation. Agro Robotics is closely related to precision agriculture as it focuses on the automation of production operations.
This project provides new insights for disease and weed identification, and safety systems for autonomous vehicles. In addition, through Web services decision rules with sensor information will be made available. The knowledge is used in parallel in the precision farming project KB-theme Sustainable Agro-chains.
