The social side of nature policy

Because of governmental considerations, less money is available for nature and landscape. Moreover, the government sees a smaller role for itself and decentralizes more tasks and responsibilities to the provinces, municipalities, businesses and citizens.

How can the role of facilitating government be set up and what changes have to be made? The Ministry of Economic Affairs is looking for new management concepts for nature and landscape policy. How should the Ministry fulfill its facilitating role and what kind of research can help to fill this role well, including the involvement of other actors?

This project aims to collect information, facts, analysis and results achieved in the past to answer these questions.
