In the horticultural sector, the design and development process "Cultivation above the ground" has started. The question is how the new cultivation systems are of use to achieve the main objectives of the government (emission reduction), sector (profitable competitive companies) and simultaneously meet the requirements of the government and the sector.
The challenge is to make use of ambitions, knowledge, creativity and resources of stakeholder in the design and development process "cultivation above the ground". Therefore co-innovation is a pillar of the system development of the "cultivation above the ground" project. To shape this, control the progress and at the same time maintaining the system innovative ambition, the process of co-innovation requires special attention.
The goal of this project is to find solutions for successful, sustainable cultivation systems, supported by social organisations and industrial stakeholders. In short, to take care of the system innovation.
