The purpose of project Eclaire is to quantify the effects of air pollution (especially ozone) in interaction with climate change, ecosystem services in terms of productivity, carbon sequestration and biodiversity.
The cost of measures for reducing air pollution and the benefits associated with reduced impacts on ecosystem services are also included.
In 2012 Alterra works on the evaluation of changes in carbon sequestration by forest growth in forests in Europe and on further development and linking of existing models.
