Samenvatting

In Netwerk Praktijkbedrijven dairy farmers work on reducing methane and ammonia emissions on their farms through management measures. This study explores what drives participating dairy farmers to implement emission-reducing measures. Attention is given to (1) stimulating and hindering factors, (2) underlying mechanisms that help explain farmers’ decision-making, and (3) distinctions between different types of dairy famrers who approach emission reduction and the implementation of measures in different ways.
