Academic Writing
Would you like to be able to write your paper or thesis with greater ease? The Academic Writing courses involve writing your own texts, academic or otherwise, while being coached by a lecturer. We offer this course at three levels.
Academic Writing 1: The Basics of Academic Writing
Start with the basics and optimise your writing skills! You will receive help with:
- writing good sentences
- the structure of paragraphs
- using academic words and sentences
- adding references to the text
- developing your reading skills
Academic Writing 2: Writing Academic Documents
Academic Writing 2 is for students who want to further develop their writing skills and are in need of assistance with writing longer texts and developing clear argument.

- Structuring paragraphs to form longer texts
- Developing a clear argument
- Integrating sources into your text
- Developing reading skills
Academic Writing 3: Writing Your Thesis
Are you currently writing your thesis and could you use some help? With our Academic Writing 3 course, you will receive guidance for:
- writing complex sentences
- using the correct vocabulary, academic sentences and grammar based on your thesis
- developing your skills regard to organising reviewing and editing your thesis
- developing your skills with regard to organising, reviewing, and editing your text
