We want to welcome you to work in the Netherlands, country with lots of opportunities. Finding work in a different country than your own can be quite a challenge. If you are looking for an international career, you can also find information here.

If you want to work in the Netherlands, you can visit www.careerinholland.nl for reliable and up-to-date information. For vacancies you can visit Student Career Services. If you are an EU/EEA member you can work in the Netherlands without restrictions. If you come from outside the EU/EEA, you need to have a work permit and sometimes you need additional insurance. The student service centre can tell you more about the specific regulations that apply to you. If you want to stay in the Netherlands we advise you to learn the Dutch language, this increases your chances of finding a job.

  • AIESEC is the largest students-run organisation in the world. They offer internships and voluntary projects.
  • Integrand is a national non-profit student organisation that helps you to find and get internships. Integrand also offers a wide range of other products and service aimed at career orientation, such as inhouse days, training and talentpools.

Volunteering

Vrijwilligerswerk Wageningen. The website is in Dutch language, but you can always meet the coordinators at their office Stationstraat 84 in Wageningen and share wishes and possibilities. Check the website for the directions. 

Helping each other with finding jobs

In Wageningen a group of job seekers organized themselves to help each other in finding jobs.The name of this initiative is Werkwiel Wageningen. Job search activities including workshops are free of charge. Registration is greatly appreciated, but not mandatory.
