To research his book, Abdolah visited the Seafarm in Zeeland, where he talked to researchers Willem Brandenburg and Julia Wald. The book tells us about the dreams of the researchers working on the Seafarm project, about the project itself and about the summer when researchers from Wageningen UR cultivated sea lettuce at ARCAM in the very heart of Amsterdam.

The Seafarm is a project of Plant Research International to develop a sustainable seaweed cultivation system.
