Feed efficiency is an important aspect for sustainable dairy farming in the future. Not only in an economical but also in an environmental perspective, through high nutrient or resource use efficiency. Feed efficiency is a complex parameter, influenced not only by ration composition but also by specific nutrients, management factors, animal health status and genotype.
To highlight the various aspects of feed efficiency in dairy farming, seven experts from the Netherlands and abroad will present their vision on improving feed efficiency in dairy production in Wageningen, The Netherlands, on Thursday 21 November 2013.
Representatives from feed and feed additive industry, dairy industry, research institutes, governmental organizations, students and others who are interested are invited to attend the 2013 symposium!
