Alumniverhaal

Martien den Blanken

'Wageningen still has a special place in my heart. I had a wonderful time there and received an excellent education. The quality and breadth of the education has allowed me, together with other Wageningen colleagues, to breach the traditional stronghold of Delft at the top level management of the drinking water utilities'.

As Wageningen Ambassador I would like, in particular, to help promote the study areas water and environment. In order to maintain the Netherlands’ top ranking in this area it is essential to produce top researchers and there lies an important task for Wageningen UR
