It converts the light energy of sun into chemical energy, and also provides the oxygenic atmosphere and regulates the atmospheric level of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide. Therefore, clarification of the regulation and mechanism of photosynthesis under various environmental conditions has paramount importance.
